GOTCHA DAY!
It has been a very long but absolutely wonderful day! The day
started early with packing, breakfast with the Huffmans, and a
flight to Hohhot Inner Mongolia. It is very cold here! The high
today was 3 degrees. Most of you know how I despise cold
weather.
Our guide Sandra picked us up from the airport and took us to
the hotel. We were told to go to our room and wait for her to
call us when Mia was there. She called us about 30 minutes
later. We were told to come to the 3rd floor meeting room with
our documents and $$$. Mia didn't cry and still hasn't cried!
She is in pretty good shape.
She has gained a lot of weight back
since her last update. I can't believe how big she is. For those
that have asked, she wears probably 18-24 month clothing. The 12
month clothing I brought seems way too tight. She is a two
fisted eater and has eaten anything we have given her and
requested more. She currently has a cold and nasty cough, but
her cerebral palsey seems to be very mild. She is doing
wonderful! They stopped shaving her head but just gave her a new
little boy haircut...err.
