"LIONS, TIGERS, AND BEARS OH MY!"

We started the day off eating at the breakfast buffet. I thought I wouldn't have to worry about holiday weight gain this year, but I was wrong! After a week at the White Swan breakfast buffet..I might have still gained weight.

After breakfast we went to the zoo with our guide Helen and with the Huffmans. It was a pretty typical zoo compared to the U.S.A. We had originally planned to go to Safari park, but it was suppose to rain and it was much more expensive. We decided to not take the chance of wasting our money, in case we were completely rained out.

We finished the day by getting Mia's visa, eating dinner at a very good Cantonese restaurant, and picking up a few last minute souvenirs. It is hard to believe we leave tomorrow. I have missed Westin so much, but in a way, it has gone by fast. It is just amazing how much Mia has bonded with us in the past two weeks.. They have cautioned us about letting other people hold her until she is well-bonded with us. Well, today a girl at the store tried to take Mia from Lexi and Mia slapped the girl's hand and shook her head no. That was good for Lexi, because she has felt a little left out with Mia being glued to my hip so much of the time. I guess we will have to work on "we don't hit!"

Tomorrow we will begin our journey home. We will be taking 4 airplanes, be in the air almost 20 hours, and be at the airports waiting for connections almost 20 hours. We are praying all goes smoothly and that we will get home safely and quickly. I had a hard time with the length of the trip on the way over, so I am really worried about having a toddler this time around.

Our road to bring Mia home has been a long and bumpy ride. However, I can't help but to be incredibly thankful for all that we have been blessed with.

We of course have our own trials and issues, but feel God has carried us through and will continue to carry us through. We strongly feel Mia was meant to be part of OUR family! Ruth 1:16 comes to mind"...where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God." Thanks for following our journey and for all of your prayers and supportive emails. We will be forever grateful. Please check back for an update when we are home!

Thanks!
