UP ALL
NIGHT - SLEEP ALL DAY
Mia was up most of the night vomiting and running a fever. This
made for a miserable night for all of us. We feel so bad for
her! Also, having a sick toddler is hard enough, but having a
sick toddler in a hotel in a foreign country is miserable.
Trying to explain why we needed new sheets in the middle of
night was not easy. Finally, they came to our room and I had to
show them why.
The grassland tour was scheduled for today. On this tour, they
take you to the countryside and mountains so you can take some
pictures of the beautiful mongolian landscape. You also meet a
traditional mongolian family, tour their village, and have a
traditional meal with them. This all sounds nice, except when
you have a sick toddler and the temperature is around 0 degrees
with the wind chill. We decided to skip the tour today and we
may attempt to go tomorrow if Mia is better, but it is doubtful.
Today we have had fewer smiles, but she still continues to amaze
us. She slept the first half of today and woke up with a smile.
She loves her medicine and crys when her dose is gone. We just
love her so much and can't wait to bring her home! We hope
tonight goes better and are glad to only have 2 nights left in
Inner Mongolia. |
She
is sick, but still happy to be with her family!
She loves to be read to,
her favorite is Beauty and the Beast. |
