THE
GRASSLANDS
We had a much better night last night. Mia seems to be
improving, but is still somewhat sick. I stayed in the hotel
with her while Nathan and Lexi went to the grasslands. Our day
was spent reading books, singing songs, cuddling, and naptime
for both of us! I kept trying to get her to say mama and it
became a game. She was playing hard to get and has quite a sense
of humor!
Nathan and Lexi seemed to enjoy the grasslands. Unfortunately,
their trip was cut short due to a sandstorm. Our guide said they
get sandstorms here about 2-3 times a year. We are just posting
pictures from the grasslands today. We will post a lot of
pictures of Mia next time. Tomorrow we are flying to Guangzhou.
We are excited to be starting the last leg of our trip to bring
Mia home. It should be warmer and more westernized there. We are
really starting to miss home and especially Westin!
I just want to say thank you to all our family and friends for
their prayers and e-mails. We really appreciate all the support!
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas! |
