Good morning Guangzhou!!! We are here and couldn't be better! Although, the plane ride over did get a little ugly and smelly....Mia ended up vomiting all over herself and me. If we thought they were staring at us before...uh look at us now! Anyways, it hasn't happened again...and we are praying it doesn't. The vomiting and staring has become much better since we landed here!

The White Swan is everything I have heard. I am so glad to be here. The weather is awesome! Of course my standards aren't very high after coming from the north pole..ok, they call it Inner Mongolia. I would compare the weather here to Florida in December. I am loving it!

We had Mia's medical exam today for the U.S.A. She didn't enjoy her exam, but was given a clean bill of health! I feel like we all need a good scrub down after being there! Nobody washed there hands in between patients and they used the same tape measure to measure all the children's head circumference without sanitizing it in between. YUCK! However, she was lucky because we were a pre-hague family and she didn't have to receive several vaccinations like some of the other children. It seems ironic that just because we waited longer for her she lucks out and doesn't have to have all the vaccinations. I am happy for her especially since she has been sick. We also had her visa picture taken.

Mia is currently napping. She needs her naps each day or her sweet personality disappears and something else emerges! Nathan is downstairs filling out the paperwork for Mia's visa with our guide Helen. She is wonderful!!! Lexi is playing with the Huffman's. We are praying Karen starts feeling better. She is having the stomach issues so many others post about.

We are re-energized by the location and guide change. We are happy to be back with the Huffmans. Looking forward to our week here! Thanks for all your continued support, prayers, and e-mails. They really help keep us in the right frame on mind!

I prefer to hold the entire piece of french toast...
who has time for baby bites!?!

Finally, I am at the White Swan with my girls!

Nathan wants to bring this ugly toad home.
Good thing it is 56,000 Yuan...I think I am safe...the toad will stay in China!

Unofficial red couch picture...
we will take one with the Huffmans later in the week

The medical exam..."save me mama!"
