It was May 4th, 2009 and word of a new shared list was out.
I check my email first thing and
my heart skipped a beat when I seen that we were matched
with a little girl! I quickly read over the medical
information and called my husband as I was hitting the
forward button to his email.
After learning about Caiping we searched for a picture of
her, but none were attached. We waited an agonizing two
hours until our agency was open and called them at 9:01. I
quickly explained to her that we were excited about the
referral and wanted to see our little girl’s picture. As
she was talking to me she was opening up her file “ooooh
she is adorable!” she said. And she was right, we fell in
love the first time we seen her picture and in our hearts
we both knew that she was our daughter.
